We have been providing the best in home care services since 1981.


How does Tri-County Home Nursing Services, Inc. select and train its employees?

We attract qualified home care workers to apply for open positions everyday. Each employee must possess a current certificate and/or licensure and be in good standing. Our staff has successfully completed a rigorous process of an extensive interview, testing and reference investigation. In addition, employees must undergo an in-depth background check and drug screening.


Do you have written policies and procedures for home care workers?

Once hired, all employees are given an employee handbook that details specific policies & procedures that cover most aspects of an employees’ work.



What kind of insurance does your agency carry?

All of our registered nurses that visit patient homes carry current malpractice insurance and Tri-County Home Nursing Services, Inc. has current professional & general liability and fidelity bond insurance.


What are your admission criteria for home care services?

Our policy is to admit a patient for home care services based on the reasonable expectation that the medical, nursing, therapeutic and social needs can be adequately met in the home environment by Tri-County Home Nursing Services, Inc. staff.


Are nurses required to evaluate and monitor patient’s needs and the care given? If so, what does it entail and is the patient’s physician and family consulted?

The nurse evaluates the patient’s homecare needs and implements a plan of care tailored to the patient’s condition. Physicians and/or family members are consulted whenever it is necessary. More on Admissions, click here.
